State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County, to wit:

Be it remembered, and it is hereby certified that on this
twenty sixth day of October, eighteen hundred and fifty,
personally appeared before the Subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the
State aforesaid, in and for the County aforesaid, Samuel C. Hunt,
he being satisfactorily proven to me, to be the person who is named
and described as, and professing to be the party of the first part
to the foregoing Bill of Sale, and doth acknowledge the same
to be his act and deed.  At the same time before me
came Jacob W. Bird Jun.r, grantee named in the foregoing Bill
of Sale, and made oath that the consideration in said Bill of Sale
is true and bonafide as therein set forth
Recorded the 26.th day of October 1850         J. W. Hunter
Delivered to Jacob N. Bird 18.th February 1851

Rachael Williams

Levi Pack
Know all men by these presents that I, Rachael
Williams of A. A. County, in the State of Maryland,
for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred dollars, current money, to me in hand paid by Levi
Pack of the County and State aforesaid, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold and delivered,
and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and deliver, unto
the said Levi Pack, my negro woman Kitty Pack, about forty
seven years of age, a slave for life, which said woman
Kitty, I will warrant and defend to the said Levi Pack, his
Executors, Administrators and Assigns, and against every
other person or persons whomsoever.  In witness whereof, I have
hereunto set my hand, and affixed my seal this 16.th day of
October 1850                                       her

Maryland A. A. County to wit:  On this 16.th day of October 1850,
before me the Subscriber, one of the Justices of the peace, in and for said
County, personally appeared Rachel Williams, she being known to me
to be the person named in the above bill of sale, and acknowledged
the foregoing Instrument of Writing, to be her act and deed according
to the true intent and meaning thereof, and at the same time, and
at the same time and place, also appeared before me Levi Pack,
the grantee in the said bill of sale named and made oath, that the
consideration set forth in the said bill of sale is true and
bonafide as therein set forth      Acknowledged before
