Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this twenty ninth
day of March in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and fifty
before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
in and for Anne Arundel County personally appeared Albert G
Cooksey he being known to me to be the person who is named
and described as and professing to be the party grantor in the
foregoing Indenture and acknowledged the same to be his act
and deed   In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
on the day and year above written

Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this Twenty
ninth day of March Eighteen hundred and fifty before me the
Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in
and for Anne Arundel County personally appeared Elizabeth
Elice the Mortgagee named in the within Indenture and made
oath that the consideration as therein set forth is true and Bona
fide            Sworn Before

Anne Arundel County To wit   I hereby Certify that Elizabeth Elice
this day paid one dollar being the duty chargeable by Law on
this Instrument of writing the receipt whereof is herein endorsed
agreeably to the Act of Assembly passed at December session
1846 chapter 61   Given under my hand this 29th day of March
1850

Know all Men by these presents that
I John H Somervell of Anne Arundel
County and State of Maryland of
the first part for and in consideration
of the Sum of Twenty Two hundred & seven dollars current money of
Maryland to me in hand paid at or before the ensealing and
delivery of these presents by Edward Reynolds Ann G Reynolds
& Leonard Mackall trading and doing business in the City of
Baltimore & State aforesaid under the firm of J W & E Reynolds
of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold and delivered & by these presents
do grant bargain sell convey and deliver unto the said parties
of the second part their Executors administrators and assigns
one negro woman named Sophronia about twenty years of
age one negro woman named Diannah about 38 years
