William Nichols
        to
Nicholas J Worthington
Know all Men by these presents that
I William Nichols of Anne Arundel
County in the State of Maryland for
and in consideration of the sum of
Two Hundred dollars current money in hand paid by
Nicholas J Worthington of County and State aforesaid at or
Before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
I the said William Nichols do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and
Sell unto the said Nicholas J Worthington his executors administrators
and assigns all the following goods and chattels to wit
One Sorrel Mare one roan horse, one bay horse one Bay hor
and one Sorrel Colt twelve months old also one yoke of Oxen
three head of cows and one ox cart now remaining upon the
farm of Charles C Stewart at present occupied by the said William
Nichols   To Have and To Hold all and singular the said
goods and personal property above bargained and sold or mentioned
and intended to be so to the said Nicholas J Worthington
his executors administrators and assigns forever   In Testimony
whereof the said William Nichols has hereunto set his hand
and affixed his seal this Twenty sixth day of March Eighteen
hundred and fifty
Signed sealed and delivered
    in the presence of                     Wm Nichols   (seal)

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct   Be it remembered
and it is hereby Certified that on this Twenty sixth day of March
Eighteen hundred and fifty before me the subscriber a Justice of
the peace of the State of Maryland in and for the County aforesaid
personally appeared William Nichols he being known to me
to be person who is named and described in the foregoing deed
or Indenture and doth acknowledge the said Indenture or
Instrument of writing to be his act and deed    And at the same
time appeared Nicholas J Worthington the aforegoing named
grantee and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty
God that the consideration in the aforegoing Bill of Sale
is true and Bona fide as therein set forth      J. W. Hunter
Recorded on the 26th day of March 1850
