State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct   On this sixteenth day of February in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty before me the subscriber one
of the state of Maryland's Justices of the peace in and for Anne Arundel County
aforesaid personally appeared Thomas Welsh party grantor in the aforegoing deed or
instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for
the purposes therein mentioned                                 Owen M. Taylor

George Francis White
Know all men by these presents that I Frances
Barber of Anne Arundel County and State of
Maryland for the Consideration of the sum of four
hundred dollars current money to me in hand paid
by George Francis White of the County and State aforesaid the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and delivered
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and deliver unto the
Said George Francis White my negro slaves Priss and her child Mary
which said Slaves Priss and Mary I will warrant and defend to the
Said George Francis White his executors administrators and assigns against
me my executors and administrators and against every other person or
persons whomsoever   In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my name
and affixed my seal this Eighteenth day of February Eighteen hundred
and fifty

Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit   On this 18th day of
February 1850 before me one of the Justices of the peace in any for
Said County appears Frances Barber acknowledges the foregoing
writing to be her act and deed according to the true intent and
meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in such case made and
provided   Witness my hand            Jos Nicholson

    A. A. County Sct   I certify that the grantee this day paid
one dollar being the duty chargeable by Law on this Instrument
of writing the receipt whereof is hereon endorsed agreeably to
the Act of Assembly of December Session 1846 chapter 61 Given
under my hand this 21st day of February 1850
