At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

   State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit

Be it remembered That on this to wit the third day of June
in the year eighteen hundred and forty five personally appeared
before me the Subscriber one of the State of Maryland's Justices of
the peace in and for said County John D. Meekins William A. Bryan
Thomas Denver and Daniel Stephen Carnes they being personally
known to me to be the identical persons who are named and described
as and professing to be grantors in the aforegoing deed or instrument
of writing and acknowledged the same as their act and deed according
to the act of Assembly in such case made and provided

Mortgage from Owen M. Taylor to
Sarah Ireland of personal property
dated the tenth day of June eighteen
hundred and forty five
This Indenture made
this tenth day of June in
the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred
and forty five between Owen M. Taylor of the City of Annapolis in
Anne Arundel Count and State of Maryland of the one part and Sarah
Ireland of the City of Annapolis in Anne Arundel County and State
of Maryland of the other part.  Whereas the said Owen M. Taylor
owes and stands justly indebted to the said Sarah Ireland in the
sum of two hundred and fifty dollars current money of the
United States being so much money loaned by the said Sarah Ireland
to the said Owen M. Taylor and to secure the payment thereof he
the said Owen M. Taylor is willing to execute these presents.  Now
this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Owen M. Taylor for and
in consideration of the premises and of the sum of five dollars
current money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said
Sarah Ireland before the sealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof he the said Owen M. Taylor doth hereby acknowledge
hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth
grant bargain and sell unto the said Sarah Ireland her executors
administrators and assigns all and singular the goods furniture
and household stuff hereinafter particularly mentioned and
expressed and now in his possession that is say Three Barrells
of sugar two Bags of Coffee two Boxes of Moale candles two Boxes of
soap one small chest of tea one barrell of molasses six Barrells of flour
