L. Lazenby in the sum of five hundred and seventeen (dollars upon one promissory note dated the thirteenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and forty eight at four months for the said amount with interest until paid the said note being now past due and not paid to secure the payment of the same this instrument is executed Now this Deed witnesseth that the said Thomas M. Crouch in consideration of the premises and of the sum of one dollar lawfull money to him in hand paid by the said Dan.l L. Lazenby at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Dan.l L. Lazenby his executors administrators and assigns the following described goods furniture and household stuff now being in the premises occupied by the said Thomas M. Crouch in Anne Arundel County viz one Spring seat sofa, one marble top pier table twelve black cane seat chairs one blk cane seat slack rock chair, one gilt frame pier glass two mantel lamps two parlour carpets four transparent blinds two radiator stoves two iron fire boards, two sheepskin mats, two papered fire boards one mahogany sideboard one center table one cherry dineing table eight red cane seat chairs one cane seat rock chair one astral lamp two large prints, one set octagon waiters two glazed spittoons one pair of plated candlesticks snuffers & tray three china flower stands six slat blinds one circular picture one entry oil cloth set of stair carpet thirty brass stair rods four cherry tables twenty six wood seat chairs, two chamber stoves & pipes one clock one white dinner set sixty plates thirty cups and saucers three castors twenty four knives and forks two celery glasses two doz tumblers one wine stand and glasses one plated coffee pot urn one one pair metal tea pots eighteen tea spoons two butter knives three glass salt stands six pitchers fourteen dishes two high port bedsteads four low post bedsteads one old sofa one mahog work stand one painted wardrobe three wash stands two mahog beaurows six feather beds three toilet tables three dress glasses, two pair brass andirons eight paper blinds two fire fenders two sets shovel & tongs four bowls & pitchers four chamber carpets one pair brass candlesticks four slop buckets three glass lamps four settees ten changes of bed furniture one large cook stove and fixtures four wash tubs twelve milk pans ten stone jars eight jugs one barrel churn 1 Bread tray one |
