333 David aged about twenty years one boy Jerry aged about thirteen years one boy Wesley aged six years also the following stock three horses two mules three yoke of oxen three milch cows five yearlings thirty sheep eighty hogs and all the farming implements now in the use and possession of the said Charles F. Worthington at and upon his farm and residence called Summer Hill in Anne Arundel County also the crop of tobacco crop of corn the lot of meat in the houses upon the said farm all the household and kitchen furniture in the dwelling house of the said Charles at the Summer Hill farm as aforesaid and also the crop of wheat in the ground at and upon the said Summer Hill farm To Have and to Hold the said negro slaves, stock, farming utensils implements furniture tobacco corn meat and wheat and all and singular the personal property hereby granted and conveyed unto the said Richard C. Mackubin his executors administrators and assigns to his and their own use and behoof Provided always and it is the true intent and meaning of these presents and of the parties hereunto that if the said Charles F Worthington his executors or administrators do and shall well well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Richard C. Mackubin his executors administrators or assigns the said sum of two thousand five hundred and thirty dollars according to the terms and tenor of the bond or obligation aforesaid then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing therein contained shall cease determine and be utterly void anything herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding. In Testimony whereof the said Charles F Worthington hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this twenty fourth day of March eighteen hundred and forty nine Chas F. Worthington (seal) In presence of J. W. Hunter State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit. Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this twenty sixth day of March eighteen hundred and forty nine before me the subscriber a justice of the peace of the state of Maryland and Anne Arundel County personally appeared Charles F. Worthington he being known to me to be the person named and described as and professing to be the party grantor in the foregoing deed or indenture and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned J W Hunter On this twenty sixth day of March eighteen hundred and forty nine before me the subscriber a justice of the peace of the state of Maryland and Anne Arundel County personally appeared Richard C. Mackubin the within named mortgagee and makes oath that the consideration of the within mortgage deed is true and bona fide as therein set forth J W Hunter Recorded on the 28.th day of March 1849 Cost $1.10
