acknowledged and recorded among the personal deed records of Anne Arundel County Court Liber W&G No 1 folio 612 did for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars current money grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and unto the said ^Isaac^ Jones his heirs and assigns all and singular the following negroes to wit one negro woman named Susan one negro boy named Levin one negro boy named Patrick one negro boy named Isaac one named Dennis as by reference to the said deed of Mortgage will more fully appear. And whereas the said Richard Weems and Benjamin O Hara administrators of the said Edward Jones sen.r deceased hath fully paid and satisfied to him the said Isaac Jones the above mentioned sum of money and interest thereon he the said Isaac Jones doth agree to execute this instrument of writing as a full release of the above described property Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Isaac Jones for and in consideration of the payment of the above mentioned sum of money and interest thereon and for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said Richard Weems & Benjamin O Hara admrs of said Edward Jones sen.r at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained and sold released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell and release enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Richard Weems & Benjamin O Hara admr.s of Edward Jones sen.r his heirs and assigns forever the above mentioned and described property. To Have and to Hold the said described property unto the said R. Weems & B O Hara admrs of Edward Jones sen.r his heirs and assigns to the only proper use of the said R. Weems & B O Hara admrs of Edward Jones senr his heirs and assigns forever In Testimony whereof the said Isaac Jones has hereunto set his hand and seal on the day and year first above written Signed sealed and delivered in Isaac Jones (seal) presence of Gassaway Winterson Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit On this 29th day of January 1849 before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of Maryland in and for the county aforesaid personally appears Isaac Jones and acknowledged the aforegoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided Acknowledged before Gassaway Winterson Recorded on the 13.th day of March 1849 Cost $ 62½ paid |
