281. Hester unto the said Charles M.cCubbin his Executors administrators and assigns against him the said George W. M.cCubbin Executors and administrators, and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this thirteenth day of June Eighteen Hundred and Forty Eight Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of T. W. Stinchicomb J. P. George W. M.cCubbin (Seal) Anne Arundel County Sc.t Be it remembered That on this thirteenth day of June 1848, before the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace for said County appears George W. M.c Cubbin and acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his act and deed, according to the true intent and meaning thereof and at the same time and place also appeared the grantee in the said Bill of Sale named and made Oath that the consideration set forth in the said Bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth" Acknowledged before T. W. Stinchcomb J. P. Recorded the 1.st day of July 1848. Examined & d.d Cost $0.50 paid 5 Sides
of these presents, the receipt whereof I the said Thomas Chaney do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Stevens Gambrill his Executors, administrators and assigns one crop of corn and one crop of tobacco growing on the farm of Capt.n C. L. Gantt and now in my possession To Have and to Hold my interest in the said crops of corn and Tobacco to the said Stevens Gambrill his Executors, administrators and assigns for And I the said Thomas Chaney for myself my heirs, executors and administrators the aforesaid crop of corn and tobacco to the said Stevens gambrill his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Thomas Chaney my executors and administrators and against all and every person and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend |
