and assigns, all the goods house hold stuff, implements and
furniture particularly mentioned hereafter that is to say One
store Counter, two Glass Counter cases (one flat and the other upright,
Two Stoves (one a cooking stove) one Sofa, Half dozen Cain
Seat Chairs, one rocking chair, one Large Table, one smaller size
Table, one Clock, Two Beds and Bedsteads, one mattrass,
Half dozen chairs two rocking chairs one Carpet, one Lot of Carpeting,
Three Looking Glasses one pair of Curtains Half dozen
Cups and Saucers one dozen plates, one Coffee pot, one Bowl,
one cream pot, to Castors, one Sugar Dish, Two setts Knives and
forks four Dishes, one pitcher one pan one Bucket, one Emer &
Basin one Basket, one Lot of Tea spoons ½ doz table spoons
one Coffee mill, one Lot of Tumblers one Rolling pin an done
pair of Flat Irons all of which furniture is now in my possession
standing and being in a certain tenement situate in Main street,
Annapolis   To Have and To Hold the said furniture to the said
Martin F. Revell his Executors, administrators and assigns forever
and I the said Solomon S. Helsby for myself my heirs, Executors
and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend
by these presents to the said Martin F. Revell his Executors administrators
and assigns the said described property against me my
executors and administrators and against all and every other person
or persons whomsoever claiming the same, or any part thereof
Provided Nevertheless, that in case I the said Solomon S. Helsby
shall pay and satisfy to the said Martin F. Revell or to his Executors,
administrators or assigns the sum of one Hundred Dollars
current money with interest for the same on or before the twenty
fifty day of July next ensuing, then this Bill of sale and every matter
and thing therein expressed shall be void and of none effect
it being the true intent and meaning thereof that the said furniture
is mortgaged by me the said Solomon S. Helsby to secure to
the said Martin F. Revell the payment of the money aforesaid
    In Witness whereof I the said Solomon S. Helsby have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal the Seventh day of April
1848.
