and truly pay unto the said James Iglehart his Executors, Administrators
or assigns the said sum of three thousand dollars with interest thereon from the first
day of November eighteen hundred and forty seven as above expressed in the manner
and at the period hereinafter stated as follows viz to pay on the first day of
July eighteen hundred and forty eight the sum of three hundred dollars, part
of the said principal sum of three thousand dollars, with the interest on the
said three thousand from the first day of November Eighteen hundred and
forty seven to the said first day of July eighteen hundred and forty Eight and
on the first day of July annually thereafter to pay the same sum of three hundred
dollars on account of the principal, and the interest then due on the balance
thereof until the whole shall be fully paid and satisfied unto the said James
Iglehart his heirs or assigns
To the true and faithful performance of the several covenants and agreements aforesaid
the parties aforesaid do hereby respectively bind themselves and their respective
heirs executors and administrators, each to the other, his Executors and administrators
current money
       In testimony whereof they have hereunto interchangably set their hands
and seals the day and year first before written

Be it remembered that on this Twenty sixth day of November in the year Eighteen
hundred and forty seven before the subscribers two Justices of the Peace
of the state of Maryland in and for Anne Arundel COunty personally appear
James Iglehart and Vachel Sevier the Parties obligor and obligee respectively
to the aforegoing Instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be their
act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned.  And we do certify that we are
satisfied of our own Knowledge that the parties making this acknowledgment
are the parties named and described as parties in said Agreement or
instrument of writing
