folios 113 &.c did for and in consideration of the considerations in said Indenture,
mentioned and set forth, convey by way of mortgage for the purpose of securing
the debts therein mentioned to the said Henry Maynadier, One negro
man named Bill Sanders, four horses, four Cows One yoke of Oxen, One
Ox Cart and the crop of wheat then growing on the farm occupied by the
said Caroline, as by reference to the said deed of mortgage will more fully
and at large appear And whereas the said Caroline since the Execution and
delivery of said deed of mortgage hath intermarried with a certain John B.
Nichols of Anne Arundel County who has fully paid and satisfied to him
the said Henry Maynadier the sums of money secured to be paid by said Indenture
of Mortgage and the said Henry maynadier being fully paid the said
debts and Interest doth agree to execute this deed of release of the above described
property   Now this Indenture witnesseth That the said Henry Maynadier
for and in consideration of the payment aforesaid and for and in
consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said John B. and
Caroline Nichols, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained sold and released
and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell and release to the said John
B. and Caroline Nichols, their Heirs and assigns forever all the personal Estate
herein before mentioned which was conveyed to him the said Henry Maynadier
by the Indenture of mortgage first herein before mentioned
In Witness whereof the said Henry Maynadier hath hereto set his hand
and affixed his seal first herein before mentioned

    Be it remembered that on this 20.th day of October in the year 1847 personally
appeared Henry Maynadier before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the
State of Maryland for Anne Arundel County and acknowledged the foregoing
deed or Instrument of writing to be his act and deed and the property therein
mentioned to be the right and Estate of the said John B. and Caroline
Nichols, parties grantees also therein mentioned and I certify that the said
Henry Maynadier is known to me as the Identical Henry Maynadier is
know to me as the Identical person therein named as party Grantor

Received Annapolis October 23.rd 1847 One dollar for Stamp duty on this
Instrument under Act of 1846 Chap 61      Jos. H. Nicholson Clk
