H. Stewart before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
for Anne Arundel County and acknowledged the foregoing deed or instrument of
writing to be his act and deed and the property and effects of the said Louisa
Stewart also therein named as party grantee and I certify that the said William
H. Stewart is personally Known to me as the identical person therein named
as party grantor                           Acknowledged before and
    Certified by                           Tho.s N. Pindle

On this thirtieth day of august in the year Eighteen hundred and forty seven
and at the time of taking the foregoing acknowledgement appeared before me the
subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland for Anne Arundel County
Louisa Stewart known to me as party grantee in the foregoing deed or instrument
of writing and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of almighty God that
the consideration set forth in the foregoing deed or instrument of writing is true and
bona fide as therein set forth

Received Annapolis August 30.th 1847.  One dollar for the Stamp duty payable

Bill of Sale from
Isaac Chaney
             to
Stevens Gambrill

Know all men by these presents that I Isaac Chaney
of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland for
and in consideration of the sum of twenty seven dollars
and fifty cents current money to me in hand paid
by Stevens Gambrill of the County and State aforesaid at or before the ensealing
and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Isaac Chaney
do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these
presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Stevens Gambrill his
executors, administrators and assigns One crop of corn and fodder in the field
and ten head of hogs, now in my possession
To Have and To Hold the said Crop of corn and fodder and Ten head of hogs
to the said Stevens Gambrill his executors, administrators and assigns for
ever and I the said Isaac Chaney for myself my heirs, executors and administrators
the aforesaid crop of corn and fodder and ten head of hogs to the
said Stevens Gambrill his executors, administrators and assigns, against
me the said Isaac Chaney my executors and administrators, and against
all and every person and persons whomsoever, shall and will warrant and
forever defend by these presents   Provided nevertheless, that in case I the
said Isaac Chaney, shall pay and satisfy to the said Stevens Gambrill, or to
