before the sealing and deliverying of these presents the receipt whereof I the
said Elijah Randall do hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Randall and
House all of One half or moiety of the crop of corn Oats and tobacco now made
or growing on and upon the farm of John G. O. Hara called Muddy Creek
whereon I now reside
To have and to hold all and singular the said Corn bats and tobacco
above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Randall
and House their Executors administrators and assigns forever and
I the said Elijah Randall for myself my heirs Executors and Administrators
all and singular the said Corn Oats and tobacco unto the said Randall
and House their Executors administrators and assigns against me the said
Elijah Randall my Executors and administrators and against all and
every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever
defend by these presents
In Witness whereof I the said Elijah Randall have hereunto subscribed
my name and affixed my seal this fourth day of August in the year
of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and forty seven

Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
On this fourth day of August 1847 personally appears before me the subscriber
a Justice of the peace in and for said County Elijah Randall and
acknowledged the within aforegoing deed or bill of sale to be his act and
deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Acts of assembly
in such case made and provided And now at the same time and
place also appears before me Samuel H Randall of the firm of Randall
and House mortgagee in the said bill of sale and made Oath that the
consideration set forth in said bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein
set forth
