Be it remembered that On this Fifth day of August in the year Eighteen hundred
and forty Seven before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland
in and for the County aforesaid personally appears James Larimore
the party grantor in aforegoing Deed and acknowledges the same to be his act
and deed

This Indenture made this fifth day of August One

Dorothea Rosenthall
                     to
Simon Rosenthall
thousand eight hundred and forty seven between
Dorothea Rosenthal of the City of Annapolis
Maryland of the One part and Simon Rosenthal of
the same place of the other part.  Witnesseth, that
whereas the said Dorothea is seized and possessed
of certain goods ware and merchandize now in her store in said City of Annapolis
and being desirous of providing permanently for the support and maintenance
of the family of the family of her bother the said Simon Rosenthal hath
agreed to execute these presents   Now this Indenture further witnesseth
that, the said Dorothea for and in consideration of the love and affection which
she bears for the said family of her said brother Simon as well as for
the sum of Twenty dollars to her in hand paid by the said Simon the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted and confirmed
to the said Simon, and by these presents doth give grant and confirm
to the said Simon all and singular the goods, wares and merchandize
of every description now in her store in the said City of Annapolis in trust
to and for the following uses and purposes that is to say in trust that he
the said Simon shall continue to carry on the business in which she the
said Dorothea is now engaged as a merchant with the capital by this
deed assigned to him in his Own name as Trustee and that he shall
in the first place pay out of it, all debts now due by her the said Dorothea
contracted on account of said business and after the payment of said
debts for the maintenance of his wife Henrietta and their children out of
