of Baltimore deceased as a slave to serve untill the first day of May Eighteen
hundred and seventy two (1872) and thereafter to be free and discharged from
all Servitue   agreeably to the form and effect of the last will and testament
of the said dec.d  The said negro Girl being sold and conveyed by me as Executor
and in virtue of the power and Authority vested in me by the said last Will and
Testament                  To Have and To Hold the said described Negro Girl
"Mahaley" for the term of years aforesaid but no longer to the said James E.
Williams his Executors Administrators and assigns as aforesaid
In witness whereof we have hereunto set Our Hands and seals this twenty
second day of July Eighteen Hundred and Forty seven

Be it Remembered That On this twenty second day of July 1847 before the
subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said County appears F. G. Waters Exec.r
as aforesaid and James E. Williams and acknowledges the above Instrument
of Writing to be their act and deed according to the true intent
and meaning thereof

Bill of Sale from James
                  Larrimore
                        To
Joseph W. & E. Reynolds
Know all men by these presents that I James Larrimore
of Anne Arundel County Maryland for and in consideration
of the sum of six hundred dollars current
money advanced and to be advanced to me by Joseph
W. and E. Reynolds of Baltimore the receipt of
two hundred and fifty dollars of which sum I do hereby acknowledge the
residue thereof to be paid to me or advanced to me as I and the said Firm shall
determine have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain
and sell to Edward Reynolds One of the said Firm all the Crops of wheat corn
Oats Tobacco and other crops the growth of this year now growing or that have grown
on the Farm whereon I live on the west Side of South River in the said County
To Have and To Hold the same unto the said Edward Reynolds his Executors
administrators and assigns in trust nevertheless to possess himself thereof given
time to time as they respectively mature or are ready for market and sell and
dispose of the same in his discretion and apply the proceeds thereof to the payment
of the said sum of money now advanced and the other sums of money that may be
advanced as aforesaid until the whole sum of Six hundred dollars with the interest
