210 in the year 1847 before the subscriber One of the Justices of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for the County aforesaid personally appeared Robert B. Chew, he being Known to me to be the person who is named and described as, and professing to be a party to the foregoing deed or indenture and doth acknowledge the said indenture or instrument of writing to be his act and deed In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name on the day and year aforesaid Robert S. D. Jones Received January 9.th 1847 One dollar stamp duty on the within Bill of sale in pursuance of the act of Assembly in such case made and provided Jos H. Nicholson Clerk Recorded the 9.th day of June 1847 Costs $1.00 Paid J. H. N. 6 sides
at and before the Sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Robert Atwell do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William H. Wood his Executors administrators and assigns all the goods hereinafter mentioned to wit One white mare two milch cows and 1 Calf 8 Hogs and 7 Pigs 4 sheep and 1 Plough and Cultivation and now in the occupation of the said Robert Atwell to have and to hold all and singular the said goods as above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said William H. Wood his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Robert Atwell for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said Goods unto the said William H. Wood his executors administrators and assigns against me the said Robert Atwell my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods and other the premises I the said Robert Atwell have put the said William H. Wood in full possession by delivery to him the said William H. Wood one Plough at the Sealing and delivery of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto the said William H. Wood as aforesaid In witness whereof I hereunto affix |
