202. and Testament To Have and To Hold the said described Negroes for Terms of years as aforesaid but no longer to the said Rebecca Waters her Executors Administrators and assigns as aforesaid In Witness whereof we have hereunto set Our Hands and seals this twenty Sixth day of April Eighteen Hundred and Forty Seven Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of F. G. Waters Ex.r (Seal) the word May first interlined of Cha.s Waters dec.d on the 14.th line from the top Joshua Stewart Rebecca Waters (Seal) State of Maryland Anne Arundel County ss. Be it Remembered That On this twenty Sixth day of April 1847 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said County appears F. G. Waters Exec.r as aforesaid and Rebecca Waters and acknowledges the above Instrument of writing to be their act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof Acknowledged before Joshua Stewart Recorded the 15.th day of May 1847 ex & deld Costs 62½ Paid 8 sides
thirteenth day of February in the year Eighteen hundred and forty and only acknowledged and enrolled in Liber W S G N.o 2 folio 83¼ one of the personal deed record books of Anne Arundel County aforesaid did for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars current money grant bargain and sell unto the said Eleonora M Goldsborough her executors administrators and assigns the following goods and chattels that is to say one negro man George about eighteen years of age one negro woman Peggy about forty five years of age and one negro woman Eliza about twenty two years of age to have and to hold the said negroes George Peggy and Eliza unto the said Eleonora M Goldsborough her heirs executors and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said |
