2 Hannah aged 56 years one mulatto Boy Ben aged 20 years 7 horses 9 cattle and 30 head of hogs together with their increase also the whole of my house hold and kitchen furniture and farming implements of every kind to have and to hold the same unto the said Ann Nichols for ever provided and there presence are upon these conditions that if the said James Larimore shall well and truly pay unto the said Ann Nichols her executors administrators or assigns the said sum of eight hundred dollars with interest thereon then and in that case these presents shall be void else to remain in full force and effect Witness my hand and seal this eighteenth day of Feby 1845 Witness Wm Glover James Larimore (seal) On the back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Anne Arundel County Sct. On this 18.th day of February 1845 before the subscriber a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for the County aforesaid personally appears James Larimore the above named Grantor and acknowledges the foregoing instrument to be his act and deed Ex d d W.m Glover Paid Recorded the 18.th day of February 1845 Know all men by these presents that I Richard C Hardesty of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of sixty one dollars and six cents to me in hand paid by William H Thumbert the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained sold assigns transferred and delivered and by these presents do give grant bargain sell assign transfer and deliver unto the said William H Thumbert the following property to wit one yoke of oxen Black three milch cows one bay mare ten years old two bay colts three years old one ditto ditto one year old one heifer two years old and one yearling. The same being that which was granted bargained and sold to me by Thomas N Stockett by deed of bargain and sale dated the twenty ninth day of April in the year eighteen hundred & forty one and recorded in Liber folio one of the personal record books of Anne Arundel County reference thereto being had will more fully appear To Have and To Hold the same unto the said W.m H Thumbert his executors administrators and assigns forever In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of February in the year eighteen hundred and forty five Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of S. H. Dorsett R. C. Hardesty (seal) State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit Exd d On this twenty sixth day of February in the year Eighteen hundred and forty five before me the Subscriber one of the justices of the peace in and for the said County appears Richard C Hardesty and acknowledges the foregoing writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning |
