whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and delivered and by these presents do grant bargain sell and deliver unto the said Jane Young and her daughter Mary Young my servant man William Young which said property I will warrant and defend to the said Jane Young and her daughter Mary Young against me my heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever Given under my hand & seal this 22.nd day of March 1847 In the presence of Richd H. current money and to secure the payment thereof is willing to execute these presents. Now therefore Know all men by these presents that I Benj E Gantt for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum of one dollar current money to me in hand paid by the said Stevens Gambrill at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Benj E Gantt do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Stevens Gambrill his Executors administrators and assigns one dark sorrel horse aged ten years and one light sorrel horse aged five years both of which horses are now in my possession. To Have and To Hold the said Horses above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Stevens Gambrill his Executors administrators and assigns forever. And I the said Benjamin E. Gantt for myself my heirs executors and administrators the said Horses unto the said Stevens Gambrill his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Benjamin E. Gantt my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In Witness whereof I the said Benj E.
