    At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

                                                 Anne Arundel County to wit
On this eighteenth day of December eighteen hundred hundred and
forty six personally appeared before me the Subscriber a justice of the
peace of the said State in and for said County George Hayden and acknowledged
the foregoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the purposes
therein mentioned

Bill of sale from William Greenwell
to Thomas T. Terry dated the sixteenth
day of December 1846
Know all men by these
presents that I William
Greenwell of Anne Arundel
County in the State of Maryland
for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars current
money to me in hand paid by Thomas T Terry of said County in the
said State at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof I the said William Greenwell do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain and sell unto the said Thomas T. Terry his
executors administrators and assigns all the goods household stuff
implements and furniture hereinafter particularly mentioned
that is to say two feather beds one bedstead one sofa one side
board bearough thirteen Chairs one stove two iron pots one tea
Kettle one pair of handirons one skillet and led one wooden clock
two looking glasses one Gilted picture frame one rag carpet wood
horse and saw and one axe &s &s all and singular which said goods
and chattels are now remaining standing and being in a certain
messuage or tenement situate in the City of Annapolis and now
in the joint occupation of the said William Greenwell and Thomas
T. Terry.  To Have and To Hold all and singular the said goods household
stuff and furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold
or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Thomas T. Terry his Executors
administrators and assigns forever  And I the said William Greenwell
for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular
the said goods household stuff and furniture and other the premises
unto the said Thomas T. Terry his Executors administrators and assigns
and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will
warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which
said goods household stuff and furniture and other the premises I the
said William Greenwell have put the said Thomas T. Terry in full
