139 of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for Anne Arundel County personally appeared Nicholas J Worthington of the said County and State he being known to me to be the person named and described as and professing to be the party grantor in the foregoing instrument of writing and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed. In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name on the day and year aforesaid Recorded the 31.st Oct 1846 W.m Glover
in the sum of seven thousand dollars current money and to secure the payment thereof unto the said Freeborn G Waters executor as aforesaid have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Freeborn G Waters his Executors administrators and assigns twenty thousand pounds of tobacco now hanging in the houses on my farm in Anne Arundel County. To Have and To Hold the said tobacco unto the said Freeborn G Waters his executors administrators and assigns In Witness whereof I hereto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of October in the year eighteen hundred and forty six Signed sealed and delivered Jn Miller (seal) in the presence of W.m Glover At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit On this 30.th day of October 1846 personally appeared John Miller before the Subscriber a justice of the peace in and for the County and State aforesaid and acknowledged the aforegoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed Acknowledged before Recorded the 30.th day of October 1845 W.m Glover
