his Executors administrators and assigns my share of a crop of
Corn now or lately standing on a farm rented by me on shares
belonging to Elijah Arnold of said County also one Horse five hogs
and all my farming utensils household stuff and other property
of every description now on the same farm or wheresoever the same
may be found.  To Have and To Hold all and singular the said property
above bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be to him the
said James Murray his Executors administrators and assigns forever
And I the said Horace Downs for myself my heirs Executors and
Administrators all and singular the said goods and property unto
the said James Murray his Executors administrators and assigns
against me the said Horace Downs my Executors and administrators
and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever
shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of
all which said goods and property I have put the said James Murray
in full possession by delivering to him one cotten shirt at the sealing
and delivery of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby
bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be unto him the
said James Murray as aforesaid  In Witness whereof I have
hereto set my name and affixed my seal this second day of
November 1846                                 Horace Downs   (seal)
Signed sealed and delivered
in presence of W.m Glover   "List of property" One third of the
corn and fodder one mare five hogs one plough & one cultivator three
axes one pork barrell three Cider barrells

    At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

             Anne Arundel County Sct.  Be it remembered that on this
second day of November 1846 personally appeared Horace Downs
party grantor in the foregoing instrument of writing before me
the Subscriber a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
for Anne Arundel County and acknowledged the same to be his
act and deed and the property therein named to be the right
and estate of the within named James Murray his Heirs Executors
Administrators and assigns and I certify that the said Horace Downs
is known to me as the identical person therein named as party grantor

Recorded the 2.nd day of Nov.b 1846
