      At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit

   Be it remembered and I hereby certify that on this 16.th
day of November eighteen hundred and forty six before me the
Subscriber a justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in and
for Anne Arundel County personally appeared Passmore
McCullough he being known to me to be the person named and
described and professing to be the party grantor in the foregoing
instrument of writing and having signed & sealed the same
in my presence and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed
before me the day and year above written

    Bill of sale from Henry Daniel to
Patrick Daniel dated the twenty
second day of October eighteen hundred
and forty nine
Know all men by these
presents that I Henry
Daniel of Baltimore
County and state of
Maryland for and in
consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars lawful money of
the United States in hand paid by Patrick Daniel of Howard District
and state aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the
said Patrick Daniel his Executors Administrators and assigns
To wit one undevid share of a tract of land lying in Anne Arundel
County and State aforesaid bought jointly by the said Patrick and
Henry Daniel of Evan T. Ellicott and Co also two lots of iron ore Lot
lying near the Washington Rail Road the second Lot lying at the
Mine Bank on the land Mrs Hammond in Anne Arundel County
three feather beds two bedsteads and bedclothes two tables six Chairs
one cubbard and stove the said described property  To Have and To Hold
to the said Patrick Daniel his Executors Administrators and Assigns
forever and the said Henry Daniel for himself his heirs Executors and
administrators the said described land and personal property unto the
said Patrick Daniel his Executors Administrators and Assigns against
the said Henry Daniel his Executors and Administrators and against all and
every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend
by these presents.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this 22.nd day of October eighteen hundred and forty six
