in the aforegoing deed or instrument of writing and acknowledge
the same to be their act and deed and the goods and chattels therein
mentioned and thereby bargained sold and released to be the right and
estate of the within named Samuel Augustus Clagett and Charles
Clagett the party grantees also therein mentioned their heirs and
assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the
said deed or instrument of writing and the Acts of Assembly in
such case made and provided

I hereby certify that John Showacre gentleman before whom the
above acknowledgments were made and who has thereto subscribed
his name was at the time of so doing a justice of the peace of said State
in and for the City of Baltimore duly commissioned and sworn

                              and affix the seal of Baltimore County Court
                              this 2.d day of July 1846

William Taylor to Daniel Hart
Bill of sale dated the eleventh
day of July eighteen hundred
and forty six
Know all men by these presents
that I William Taylor of Anne
Arundel County in the State
of Maryland for and in consideration
of the sum of three
hundred and twenty five dollars current money to me in hand
paid by Daniel Hart of Anne Arundel County in the said State
at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the
receipt whereof I the said William Taylor hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain and sell unto the said Daniel Hart his executors
administrators and assigns all the goods household stuff implements
and furniture hereinafter particularly mentioned that is
to say one Iron gray horse one cart and gear one red baffalo cow and
calf one red and white cow and calf two shoats two ploughs one cultivator
one yoke one shovel four hoes one dung fork two sets of plough gear one
wheel barrow one side board and glasses two tea sets of China one dozen
dining plates five dishes two dozen small plates one black tin coffee
pot one dozen knives and forks one dozen spoons one dining table one breakfast
table one clock one silver watch one pair brass andirons one pair shovel
