hath granted bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed
and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff
and confirm unto the said Whittington & Snyder their Executors
administrators and assigns the following chattels and personal
Estate now in the possession of the said Francis Brashears his farm
in South River Neck in the said County of Anne Arundel viz twenty
five thousand pounds of tobacco more or less now packed or impacted
in the houses of the said Francis except seven hogsheads part thereof
which are in the possession of the said Whittington and Snyder
six yoked oxen one ox cart twenty sheep and thirty hogs one threshing
machine and the crop of wheat now growing on the said farm.  To
have and to hold unto the said Whittington and Snyder their Executors
administrators and assigns forever to and for their only use and behoof
and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever Provided
Nevertheless that if the Francis Brashears his Executors administrators
or assigns shall and do well and truly save harmless and indemnify
the said Whittington and Snyder their Executors administrators and
assigns from all loss and damage by reason of their acceptance as
aforesaid then these presents and every matter and thing therein
set forth shall be utterly null and void and of none effect

    In Testimony whereof the said Francis Brashears hath hereunto
set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first herein
before written                                             his

in presence of W.m Glover                         mark

       At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

       State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit

Be it remembered that on this second day of April in the year
eighteen hundred and forty six personally appears Francis Brashears
of the County and State aforesaid the party grantor within named
before me the Subscriber a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
in and for Anne Arundel County and acknowledges the said deed
or instrument of writing to be his act and deed and the chattels
and personal property therein mentioned and thereby bargained
and sold to be the right and estate of the said Whittington and Snyder
Parties grantees also therein named their Executors administrators
and assigns forever according to the purport true intent and
meaning of the said deed or instrument of writing and the Acts
of Assembly in such cases made and provided

Recorded the 22.nd day of April 1846               W.m Glover
