89 did for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty three dollars Current money grant bargain and sell unto the said John Lamb his Executors administrators and assigns all and singular the furniture and household stuff hereinafter particularly mentioned and expressed that is to say one Mahogany Side Board two Mahogany tables one wooden Clock one Poplar Bedstead one Maple Bedstead two Beds one stove one Mahogany Clothes Press one dozen winsor chairs one Pine table two home made Carpets two Black Walnut tables one pair of andirons one fender two looking glasses as by reference to the said deed of mortgage will more fully and at large appear And Whereas the said Charles Willigman Junior hath fully paid and satisfied the said John Lamb the above mentioned sum of money and interest thereon he the said John Lamb doth agree to execute this Instrument of writing as a full release of the above described property Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said John Lamb for and in Consideration of the payment of the above mentioned sum of money and the interest thereon and for and in Consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said Charles Willigman Junior at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and released and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and release unto him the said Charles Willigman Junior his Executors administrators and assigns for ever the above described property to have and to hold all and singular the said furniture and household stuff unto the said Charles Willigman Junior his Executors administrators and assigns to his and their own use and behoof In witness whereof the said John Lamb has hereunto set his hand and seal on the day & year written Signed sealed and delivered in his the presence of John x Lamb (seal) J W Hunter (seal) mark $.62 chd 5 Recorded the 22nd day of April 1840 This Indenture made this twenty second day of april in the year of our lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty between Edward Dubois of Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis of the one part and William McNier and Richard C Hardesty of the third part Whereas the said William McNier and Richard C Hardesty have become security for said Edward Dubois upon a Treasurers Bond given to the state of maryland for the use of the Mayor and City Council of Annapolis in the penalty of Eight thousand Dollars Current Money for the faithful performance of his duties as Treasurer of the Corporation (of) |
