Crandell his Executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said John Parrish
of Aaron for myself my heirs administrators and executors unto the said Henry A Crandell
his heirs &.c by these presents shall and will forever defend  In Testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this thirtieth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty

                      At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

    Anne Arundel County Sct  On this 30th day of March 1840 personally appears
before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace for said County John Parrish of Aaron
and acknowledges the above or foregoing bill of sale or Instrument of writing
to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and
the act of assembly in such case made and provided

    Know all men by these presents that I Joseph J Speed of the City of Baltimore
and state of maryland as attorney in fact for said Thomas Anderson formerly
of Annapolis in Anne Arundel County and state of maryland but now of
the state of Ohio Executor of the last Will and Testament of Eleanor Mackubin
late of the City of Annapolis in Arundel County and state of maryland and
also in his own right have bargained and sold and for and in consideration
of the sum of Two hundred dollars lawful money in hand paid by Henry F
Dunbar of Ann Arundel County and state of maryland the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain and sell unto the said Henry F Dunbar the two following
described negro boys To wit Negro John born on the first day of September in the
Year Eighteen hundred and twenty Eight a slave but who by the said last will
and Testament of Eleanor Mackubin aforesaid is to serve until he the said John
shall arrive to the age of Twenty one years and then to be liberated and set
free also negro William born on the first day of October in the year Eighteen
hundred and twenty Eight a slave but who by the last will and testament
of the aforesaid Eleanor Mackubin is to serve until he said William shall arrive
to the age of Twenty one years and then to be liberated and set free from Slavery
To have and To Hold the said described Negroes John and William for the term
of years implied and designated above by their respective ages to the said Henry
T Dunbar his Executors administrators and assigns and to their use and behoof
only  In Witness whereof the said Joseph J Speed hath hereunto set his hand
