74 under them or either of them to appoint and at pleasure to displace and further to do and execute all and every other act and acts requisite and expectant to be done in and about the premises as fully and amply as he the said Ambrose B Owens might or could have done if these presents had never been made In Testimony whereof the said Ambrose B Owens has hereunto sett his hand and affixed his seal on the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Ambrose B Owens (seal) Edwd Alexander Jacob Bradenbaugh At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this twenty second day of November Eighteen hundred and thirty nine before the Subscribers two Justices of the Peace of the said state in and for the County aforesaid personally appears Ambrose B Owens he being known to us to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the foregoing deed or Indenture and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed In witness whereof we hereunto subscribe our names on the day and year aforesaid Edw.d C Alexander Jacob Bradenbaugh Recorded the 11.th day of December 1839 Know all men by these presents that I Jacob Timanus of Anne Arundel County in the state of maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of three hundred & five dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Charles A McLaughlin of the same County and state at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Charles A McLaughlin his Executors administrators and assigns all and singular the goods household Stuff and other articles now in my dwelling house and in my possession at Ellicotts Mills which are hereinafter particularly described to wit two pine chests two carpets rugs one low post poplar bedstead one gun one high post bedstead and bedding one chamber table looking glass one box of birds two wash Stands basins and pitchers one Chamber Carpet and rug one pair andirons three picture frames three trunks two low post poplar bedsteads feather beds and bedding four pictures and frames one looking glass one bureau one small table twelve window blinds |
