fifteen years one negro girl named Maria Blackistone aged about nine ^Eleven^ years
^one negro girl named Holly Blackistone aged about seven years^ and one negro boy named John Blackistone aged about five years together
with all and every the increase of said negroes hereafter to be born  To have
and To hold the said negroes and their increase to the said James
Iglehart his Executors administrators and assigns forever to his and their only
proper use and behoof and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever
Provided always and it is hereby declared to be the true intent and
meaning of these presents and of the parties thereto that if the said Richard
M Chase his Executors or administrators shall at any time hereafter
when the same shall be demanded pay or cause to be paid to the said
James Iglehart his Executors administrators or assigns the aforesaid sum
of Five hundred dollars Current money with interest thereon from the
date hereof then this Indenture and every matter and thing therein
Contained shall cease and determine and be utterly null and void any
thing therein Contained to the Contrary Notwithstanding  In Testimony
whereof the said Richard M Chase hath hereunto Subscribed his name
and affixed his seal the day and year first herein before written
Signed Sealed and delivered in presence
of the word Sum in 9th line 1.st page & the word
administrators 27th line 1.st page being first            R.d M Chase   (seal)

                At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County on this thirteenth day of
September 1839 personally appears Richard M Chase of the County aforesaid
before me a Justice of the peace of the state of maryland for said County and
acknowledges the aforegoing deed or Instrument of writing to be his act and
deed for the purposes therein mentioned according to the purport true
intent and meaning of the said deed and the act of assembly in

Know all men by these that I Thomas Crandell of Anne Arundel
County and state of maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of
One hundred and thirty dollars to me in hand paid by Levi Stansbury
of the County and state aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery
hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said
