51 one chest two pair andirons Shovel and Tongs two dutch ovens three pots one tea Kettle To have and To hold the said described personal property to the said Joshua H Hynes his Executors administrators and assigns forever And he the said John Hynes for himself his heirs Executors and administrators the said household goods and stuff unto the said Joshua H Hynes his Executors administrators and assigns against him the said John Hynes his Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of August Eighteen hundred and thirty nine Signed Sealed and delivered in presence John Hynes (seal) of Tho.s Furlong At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit City of Baltimore Ss Be it remembered that on this nineteenth day of August 1839 before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace for said City appears John Hynes and acknowledges the above Instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof chd Acknowledged before Thos Furlong .50 3¾ Recorded the 6.th day of September 1839 Know all men by these tha I George W Wilson of Anne Arundel County in the state of maryland and who intermarried with Mary Taylor one of the legatees named in the last will and testament of Sarah Pumphrey late of Anne Arundel County deceased for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and sixty Dollars Current Money to me in hand paid by Henry hodges of Anne Arundel County in the state of Maryland aforesaid hath granted bargained and sold and doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Henry Hodges his heirs and assigns my negro Boy Peter who were devised to my said wife by the aforementioned last will and Testament to serve the said Henry Hodges his heirs and assigns for and during the time or term of servitude fixed and expressed in said last will and testament By which it appears having reference to the record of their ages returned by the Executors of said last will and testament that Peter had to serve Eight years from the twenty ninth of march Eighteen hundred and thirty Eight To have and To hold the said negro boy Peter during their respective term of servitude to him the said Henry Hodges his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use and benefit And I the said George W Wilson for myself my heirs Executors and administrators shall and will warrant and defend during the aforementioned term (respectively) |
