presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Vachel Sevear his Executors
administrators and assigns one gray Horse gear & Cart  To have and To
hold all and singular the said horse gear & Cart bargained and sold
or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Vachel Sevear his
Executors administrators and assigns for ever and I the said Thomas A
Murdock for myself my heirs Executors and administrators all and
Singular the said horse gear & Cart unto the said Vachel Sevear
his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Thomas
A Murdock my Executors and administrators and assigns all and every
other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever
defend by these presents of all and singular which said horse gear
& Cart  I the said Thomas A Murdock have put the said Vachel
Sevear in full possession by delivering the said horse gear & Cart  In
Witness whereof I have affix my hand & seal

Know all Men by these that I Leonard Johnson of Anne
Arundel County and state of maryland for the Consideration of the sum of
one hundred dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Allen
Warfield of the County and state of maryland the receipt whereof I doe
hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold and delivered unto
And by these presents doe grant bargain and sell and deliver unto the
Said Allen Warfield one Cow one heifer yearling one Calf all my
household and kitchen furnature of Every description whatever all my
farming utensils all my poultry all my provisions of every kind which
property I will warrant and defend unto the said Allen Warfield his
Executors administrators and assigns against the  my Executors and
administrators and against every other person or persons whomsoever
in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth
day of July Eighteen hundred and thirty nine

The state of maryland Anne Arundel County Sct  Be it remembered
