37 County appears George Dorsey & D.r Mich.l Pue and acknowledges the above Instrument of writing to be their act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof chd Acknowledged before Edward C Alexander 46 3¼ Recorded the 11th day of May 1839 Know all men by these presents that I Michael Dorsey of Anne Arundel County of the State of Maryland in Consideration of the sum of five Dollars to me in hand paid by Michael G Dorsey the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge and of the natural affection I bear to him my son the said Michael G and in further Consideration of the Covenants herein Contained have bargained sold granted and Confirmed unto the said Michael G all the goods house hold stuff and implements of household and all the slaves horses hogs sheep Cattle and other stock and all the implements of husbandry being in the house and upon the farm upon which I now reside together in their increase and all that I may add from time to time to the same or that the said Michael G may add from time to time whilst resideing with me upon said farm and manageing the same for me as it is proposed between us that he shall do out of the proceeds of said farm or otherwise To have and To hold all and singular the said goods household stuff and implements of household and all Slaves horses hogs sheep cattle and other Stock and all the the implements of husbandry and productions of the land aforesaid unto him the Said Michael G Dorsey and his heirs and assigns forever without any claim or hindrance from any person whatsoever and without any account to me or any other person whatsoever hereafter to be rendered so that neither I nor any other person for me or in my name any right or Interest in said goods nor any part or parcel thereof shall or will challenge or demand at any time hereafter but from all actions and demands therefor shall be wholely debared and excluded by virtue of these presents And I the said Michael Dorsey my Executors and administrators all and singular the above granted premises unto the said Michael G Dorsey his Executors administrators and assigns against all and every other person and persons whatsoever shall and will for ever warrant and defend by these presents In Consideration whereof it is further Covenanted and agreed the said Michael G Dorsey that within space of twelve months after my death he will pay to each of my daughters the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars or in case of the death of either of my Daughters during my life without child or children that he will pay to the survivor the Sum of five hundred dollars being my estimate of the present value of the property herein granted to him the said Michael G Dorsey the said Sum or sums of money to carry interest from my death untill it shall (have) |
