                         On the back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  On this 8th day of may one thousand
Eight hundred and thirty nine before me one of the Justices of the peace in and
for said County appears Benjamin F Weedon and acknowledges the foregoing
Instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and
meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided

4      Recorded the 11th day of May 1839


       Know all men by these presents that George Dorsey of Baltimore County
and State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of 220 dollars
lawful money of the United States in hand paid by Dr Michl Pue of the City
of Baltimore at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by
these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Dr Michl Pue his Executors
administrators and assigns the following negro children to wit Matilda
born on the 10th of Septr 1826 Emely born on the 25th of December 1828 Harriet
born on the 23 of Decr 1830  Lloyd born on the 21st of October 1832 & Louisa
born on the 1.st of April 1835 children of Lile to be free at the age of 30 years
by the will of Co.l Rezin Hammond of A A County  To have and To hold
the said described Negro Children to the said Dr Michl Pue his Executors
administrators and assigns forever and he the said George Dorsey for himself
his heirs Executors and administrators the said Negro Children unto the
said Michl Pue his Executors administrators and against all and every
other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever
defend by these presents  In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our
hands and seals this ninth day of may Eighteen hundred and thirty nine

                      At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit
