said deed or instrument of writing and the acts of assembly in such case made and

8¼      Recorded the 25 day of march 1844


          Know all men by these presents that I Washington G Tuck of Anne
Arundel County being indebted unto Israel Griffith of the City of Baltimore in the
sum of three hundred and ten dollars and fifty four Cents Current money with
Interest and Costs of protest on my promissory note to and endorsed by Adam
Miller for the above sum of money dated on the seventeenth day of August in
the year Eighteen hundred and forty three and payable five months after the date
thereof and in the further sum of one hundred and thirty nine dollars on one
other promissory note drawn by me in favour of the said Adam Miller and by
him endorsed for said sum of money dated on the second day of October in the
year aforesaid and payable nine months after date thereof for the purpose of
securing the payment of said sums of money with Interest and Costs and in
Consideration of the sum of ten dollar Current money to me in hand paid by the
said Israel Griffith at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Israel Griffith his
Executors administrators and assigns all my Crop of Wheat were growing on
my farm in South pines Neck in Anne Arundel County  To have and to hold
the same unto the said Israel Griffith he and they shall and will as soon
as Conveniently may be after the same shall have been sent to market sell and
dispose of said Crop and the Nett proceeds remaining of the payment of all
expenses attending the Execution of this trust apply to the payment of the
aforesaid sums of money so due from me to said Griffith in the order within
mentioned with Interest and Costs and the surplus if any shall remain shall
pay unto myself my Executors administrators or assigns  And I do hereby
covenant and agree to and with said Griffith that I my Executors or
administrators shall and will in proper season harvest said Crop and
with all convenient dispatch send the same to the City of Baltimore to
some property agent to be a grant upon between said Griffith and myself my
Executors or administrators with directions and authority to said agent to sell said
crop and the proceeds thereof to pay over to said Griffith his Executors &
administrators or assigns for the purposes aforesaid  In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of April in the year
Eighteen hundred and forty four
