house  To have and To hold all and singular the said goods and chattels herein
before granted bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be unto The
State of maryland for ever to the only proper use and behoof of the said State of
maryland for ever  Provided always and these presents are upon this Condition
that if the said WIlliam S Green his Executors or administrators shall do well and
truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said State of maryland or its certain
Attorney the sum of money due upon the said Judgments then and in such
case these presents and every matter and thing herein Contained shall cease determine
and be utterly void to all intents and purposes any thing herein Contained to the
Contrary thereof in any wise to be paid unto the said State of maryland or its
certain Attorney the said sum of money so as aforesaid due on the said
Judgments with legal interest thereon according to the present Condition of
said Judgments as the same has or may accrue and the said William S
Green for himself his heirs Executors and administrators all and singular
the said goods and chattels by these presents bargained and sold and every
part thereof unto the said State of maryland against him the said William
S Green his Executors and administrators and against all and every other
person and persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever
defend by these presents  In Witness whereof the said William S Green
hath hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal the day and year
first herein before written                           Wm S Green   (seal)
Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of            Wm Glover

       At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

    Received on the day of the date of the within deed of and from the within
named State of maryland the sum of five dollars current money of the United
States being the Consideration mentioned in the said deed
Witness   Wm Glover                                          Wm S Green

       State of maryland Anne Arundel County sc  Be it remembered That on
this twenty fifth day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and forty four personally appears William S Green a party grantor
mentioned in the within deed or instrument of writing before me the subscriber
a Justice of the peace of the State of maryland in Anne Arundel County and
acknowledged the said within deed or instrument of writing to be his act and
deed and the goods and chattels therein mentioned and thereby bargained and
sold to be the right and Estate of The State of Maryland party grantee also therein
mentioned for ever according to the purport true intent and meaning of the
