lawful issue by me on the one part William Watson and on the other part by my wife
Mary Watson my lawful wife then in such case such increase or issue of Children
shall participate and share such and each alike with my or their two children
William Thomas Watson and Sarah Elizabeth Watson subject to all the injunctions
and restrictions as is expressed in the foregoing instrument of writing  To hold unto
them their Executors administrators and assigns for ever as tenants in common and as
Joint Tenants  And I William Watson for myself my heirs Executors and assigns all
the said Negroes with their increase unto the said William Thomas Watson and
Sarah Elizabeth Watson (connected and subject to the foregoing injunctions) that
is the lawful issue by me William Watson and my wife Mary Watson unto them
their Executors administrators and assigns and against all and every other person
or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these
presents of all and singular which said Negroes I have put the said William
Thomas Watson and Sarah Elizabeth Watson in possession at the sealing and
delivery of these presents  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed my seal this twenty seventh day of February Eighteen hundred and forty
four

presence of   Gassaway Winterson
                          D H Battee

          On the back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

    State of maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  On this 27 day of February 1844
Personally appears William Watson before me the subscriber one of the Justice of
the peace for the said County and acknowledges the foregoing instrument of writing
to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned according to the purport
true intent and meaning of the same

          Know all men by these presents that I William Watson of Anne
Arundel County and State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of
five dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Benjamin B Elliott of the
County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery hereof
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Benja B Elliott
his Executors administrators and assigns One Negro woman named Renee
aged about thirty Eight years One Negro boy named Wilson aged about three
years all which property is now in my possession  To have and To hold the
