Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of The Words and shall also save from
loss the said Gilbert Murdock and Basil Shephard by reason of their indorsements
as aforesaid being first interlined                     J W Hunter

             At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

       State of maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  Be it remembered That on
this twenty second day of December in the year Eighteen hundred and forty three
before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the said State in and for said County
personally appeared William Murdock he being known to me to be the Identical
person named and described as and professing to be the party grantor in the
aforesaid instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and

7      Recorded the 22nd day of December 1843


       Know all men by these presents that I Edward W Duvall of Anne Arundel
County in the State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of thirty dollars
Current money to me in hand paid by John Miller of the County and State aforesaid
at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the the
said Edwin W Duvall do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said John Miller his
Executors administrators and assigns and Gray horse Cart and gear  To have and
To hold the said personal property so described as aforesaid and above bargained
and sold or mentioned or intended so to be to the said John Miller his Executors
administrators and assigns and I the said Edwin W Duvall for myself my
heirs Executors and administrators the said personal property unto the said
John Miller his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Edwin
W Duvall my Executors and administrators and against all and every other
person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend by
these presents   In Witness whereof I the said Edwin W Duvall have heretor set
my hand and affixed my seal this nineteenth day of December Eighteen
hundred and forty three
