assigns the following goods and chattels that is to say three beds bedsteads and
bedding one dozen chairs twenty five yards of Carpeting three tables two ploughs
one cultivator one harrow two Cows and calves two young bulls twelve hogs
one bay mare one stack of hay about two tons all my Crop of Tobacco now in
the house supposed to be three hogsheads my crop of corn part gathered supposed
to be two hundred bushels & all my crop of fodder all and singular which said
goods and chattels are now in my possession  To have and To hold all and singular
the said goods and chattels & other the premises above bargained and sold or
mentioned or intended so to be to the said Adam T Allen his Executors administrators
and assigns forever and I the said John L Benjamin for myself my heirs Executors
and administrators all and singular the said goods chattels and premises unto the
such Adam T Allen his Executors administrators and assigns against me the
said John L Benjamin and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever
shall and will warrant and defend by these presents  In Witness whereof I the said
John L Benjamin have hereto set my name and affixed my seal this Eighth day of
November in the year 1843

presence of      J W Hunter

             At the foot of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit

       Received on the day of the date of the above instrument of writing of Adam
T Allen the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars it being the full consideration
therein expressed                                       John L Benjamin
Witness   J W Hunter

       Anne Arundel County Maryland vizt  Be it remembered That on this
Eighth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and forty three personally appeared John L Benjamin before me the
subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of maryland for Anne
Arundel County and acknowledged the aforegoing instrument of writing
to be his act and deed and the goods & chattels therein mentioned and
thereby conveyed to be the right and Estate of Adam T Allen his heirs
and assigns also therein mentioned as party grantee according to the
purport true intent and meaning of the said instrument of writing and
the Acts of Assembly in such case made & provided and I Certify that
the said John L Benjamin is personally known to me as the Identical
person named as grantee in the same instrument of writing
