293 This Indenture made this Eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty three Between Leonidas Coulter of Anne Arundel County and State of maryland of the one part and Henry Coulter Senior of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Leonidas L Coulter for and in Consideration of the sum of five dollars Current money to him in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby hereby acknowledge hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Henry Coulter Senior his heirs and assigns all the following property that is to say one dozen mahogany chairs one pair of side tables one Lounge one sideboard one English carpet one pair of silver candlesticks and snuffers & tray one Pier glass one mahogany buroe one wash stand one feather bed and mattrass one travelling trunk one Toilet and glass one & a half dozen Common chairs three stoves five setts of Casters one dinning table one brass fender shovel & tongs one Common settee one card table one breakfast table one Hearth rug one pair Venecian blinds one small walnut table three fire boards two kitchen tables & kitchen utensils one half dozen covered dishes two turins three dozen plates four dozen knives and forks one stair Carpet & rods one double barrel gun for ducks one double barrel bird gun two bar pitchers two china pitchers three stove pitchers two china pitchers nine bar kegs two dozen decanters one Drainer one yankee Clock five demijohns six Camptum sanipe four ale kegs To have and To hold the said property above mentioned and described unto the said Henry Coulter Senior his heirs and assigns in trust to and for the said intents and purposes that is to say In Trust for the said grantor Leonidas L Coulter during his natural life and after his death to and for the sole use of the said Rebecca Coulter her heirs and assigns for ever clear of this trust In Witness whereof the said Leonidas Coulter hath hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal the day and year first above written Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence Leonidas L Coulter (seal) of Wm Glover At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: Be it remembered That on this Eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty three personally appeared Leonidas Coulter before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for the County aforesaid he being known to me to be the party grantor in the above instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed Exd d d Sworn before Wm Glover 55 paid 4¾ Recorded the 13 day of November 1843 |
