Two tin buckets ten tin pans one dozen knives & forks 3 tubs and one Gun
all which property is now in my possession  To have and To hold the same
described property above bargained and sold to the said Frances N Whittington
her Executors administrators and assigns the said described property against
me my Executors administrators and assigns all and every other person or
persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof  In Testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twelfth day of April eighteen
hundred and forty three

             At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

       Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  On this twelfth day of April Eighteen
hundred and forty three before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for said
County and State aforesaid appears William T Whittington and acknowledges
the foregoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true
intent and meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided
and I also Certify that the said W T Whittington party grantor to the within instrument
of writing is personally known to me as the maker of said instrument of writing

5      Recorded the 20th day of April 1843


       Know all men by these presents that I Gassaway Owens of Anne Arundel
County and State of maryland for and in consideration of the relinquishment of my
wife Arbridge E Owens to her thereto or dower in and to a tract of land laying and
being in Anne Arundle County and State of maryland and known by the name of
Owens Fancy or lot number two recorded in the land records of Anne Arundle
County Containing one hundred and seventeen and a half acres of land more or less
refference to which will more fully appear  And for and in consideration of the sum
of five hundred and Eighty seven dollars and fifty Cents Current money of the State
aforesaid to me in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivering of
these presents the receit whereof I the said Gassaway Owens do hereby acknowledge
hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell
unto the aforesaid Arbridge E Owens her heirs Executors administrators or assigns
for ever all the hereinafter named property and now in my possession namely one
negro woman named Maria aged about thirty two years one negro Girl
named Ann aged about six years one negro Girl named Charlott aged about
four years one negro Girl named Issabell aged about six months one
white Steer aged about ten years one red steer aged about four years
