243 interest for the same and shall in all respects save harmless indemnify and reimburse the said Adam Miller & Mary Hunter their Executors & administrators for and on account of their having become bound as aforesaid or for any monies that they the said Adam Miller & Mary Hunter may hereafter be compelled to [illegible] for and on account of him the said John Miller then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing herein Contained shall cease determine and be utterly void to all intents and purposes any thing herein contained to the Contrary thereof in any case notwithstanding Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence of the erasures on the first page being made Jno Miller (seal) Wm Glover At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit On this 18 day of April 1843 Personally appeared John Miller before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for the County and State aforesaid and acknowledged the foregoing deed or instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned according to the purport true intent and meaning thereof and the Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided Exd d d Acknowledged before Wm Glover chd 98 8 Recorded the 18 day of April 1843 Know all men by these presents that I William T Whittington of Anne Arundel County in the State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Mrs Frances N Whittington of the County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Frances N Whittington her Executors administrators and assigns one bay mare and her Colt 4 bedsteads 4 beds & bed furniture belonging to the same one secretary book Case and books in same Fifteen Common Chairs 2 Rocking Chairs 4 Table three stoves and pipes 1 large looking glass two large waiters and two small waiters 1 Brass fender one straw Carpet 2 rug Carpets one woollen carpet one pair small brass and Irons one pair Iron dogs two pair Shovel and tongs one clock 1 cup board one safe one Wardrobe one candle 6 milk crocks 6 Stove Jars 2 Stove pitchers 1 Cot three Trunks 1 Toilet stand 2 Table covers 1 Brittania Tea set 1 Set Castors 1 pr silver Sugar tongs six silver spoons 1 wheel barrow three pictures four Iron pots 2 dutch ovens & lids 2 skillets two tea kettles 2 and Irons (two) |
