282 bargain sell and deliver unto the said Bradley H Simpson one Gray horse two cows and two calves one young steer one black one bed bedstead and bedding one walnut table one cart and harness two sows and eight pigs which I will warrant and defend to the said Bradly H Simpson his Executors administrators and assigns against me my Executors and administrators and against every other person or persons whomsoever In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed my seal this thirty first day of January one thousand Eight hundred and forty three Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of after his interlining the words "two" in two places in the John x Rollings 9th line S Gambrill David Mewshaw mark At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Maryland Anne Arundel County sc On this thirty first day of January Eighteen hundred and forty three before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for said county appears John Rollings and acknowledges the foregoing writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided S Gambrill Exd d d paid 3 Recorded the 18th day of February 1843 Know all men by these presents that I William Watson of Anne Arundel county and State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and Eighty Eight dollars and forty one Cents Current money to me in hand paid by Benjamin B Elliot of the County and State aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said William Watson do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Benjamin B Elliot his Executors administrators or assigns one sorrel horse aged about nine years one sorrell colt aged about three years red spotted cow aged about nine years one red spotted cow a buffalow aged about three years one red calf aged about one year one Gig and gear and two feather beds bedsteads and furniture and now in my possession To have and To hold the aforenamed property and all and every part thereof to the said Benjamin B Elliot his Executors administrators and assigns for ever and I the said William Watson for myself my heirs Executors and administrators the aforesaid and property and every part thereof to the said Benjamin B Elliot his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said William Watson my Executors and administrators and against all and every person and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents Provided Nevertheless that in case I the said William Watson shall pay and satisfy to the said Benjamin B Elliot or to his Executors administrators or assigns the sum of one hundred and (Eighty) |
