220 of the State aforesaid in and for the City of Baltimore duly Commissioned and Sworn In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and affix the seal (seal) of Baltimore County Court this 28 day of November 1842 Exd d d Thomas Kell Clk chd 5½ Recorded the 29th day of November 1842 Whereas James Iglehart and Nicholas J Watkins of the City of Annapolis have recovered Judgments against William S Green that is to say the said James Iglehart for the sum of Eight hundred and seventy three dollars and Eighty Cents Current money with Interest thereon from the first day of april in the year Eighteen hundred and forty one and the said Nicholas J Watkins for the sum of six hundred and thirty six dollars and forty one Cents Current money with Interest on five hundred and thirty four dollars and Eighty five Cents Current money from the thirtieth day of August Eighteen hundred and thirty four and Costs as by said Judgments now remaining in Anne Arundel County Court appears And whereas the said Iglehart and Watkins have hitherto Consented to delay Execution of said Judgments at any instance and validation and upon any understanding to give them security in consequence of such delay Now Know all men by these presents that I the said William S Green for and in consideration of the premises aforesaid and of the sum of one dollar Current money to me in hand paid by the said Iglehart and Watkins at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and at the special instance and request of the said Iglehart and Watkins have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said James Iglehart and Watkins their Executors administrators and assigns all my silver plate and household and Kitchen furniture now being in and about my dwelling house To have and To hold the same unto and to the use of the use of the said Iglehart and Watkins their Executors administrators and assigns Provided however that if I the said William S Green my Executors or administrators shall on or before the first day of January in the year Eighteen hundred and forty six pay unto the said James Iglehart and Nicholas J Watkins their Executors administrators or assigns the aforesaid sums of money with Interest and Costs as aforesaid then these presents and every thing herein shall cease and determine and be utterly null and void And it is further to be understood that until default shall be made in payment of the aforesaid sums of money and interest thereon the aforesaid property hereby granted shall remain in the possession of the said William S Green to be void and enjoyed by him his Executors and administrators In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand (and) |
