210 mentioned or intended so to be unto the said Israel Griffith his Executors administrators and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Israel Griffith his Executors administrators and assigns forever Provided always and these presents are upon his condition that if the said Thomas S McNeir his Executors administrators shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Israel Griffith the said notes as they shall respectively become due then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing herein Contained shall cease determine and be utterly void to all intents and purposes any thing herein Contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding In Witness whereof the said Thomas S McNier hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first before written Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of the word "notes" in the first page being first Th.s S McNeir (seal) interlined Wm Glover At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit State of maryland Anne Arundel County to wit On this 26th day of October 1842 personally appeared Thomas S McNeir before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for the County and state aforesaid and acknowledged the foregoing deed or instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned according to the purport true intent and meaning thereof and the acts of assembly in such case made and provided Acknowledged before Exd d d Wm Glover chd 73 6 Recorded the 9th day of November 1842 This Indenture made this twenty second day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred forty two between George McNeir of Anne Arundel County and state of maryland of the one part and Richard R Goodwin of the same County and state of the other part witnesseth that the said George McNeir for and in consideration of the trust and confidence in him the said Richard R Goodwin reposed and herein before particularly set forth and also for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars Current money to him the said George McNeir by the said Richard R Goodwin in hand paid at the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said George McNeir doth hereby acknowledge hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Richard R Goodwin his executors administrators and assigns in trust for the purposes hereinafter particularly set forth and expressed all the Cashold interest of the said George McNeir in and to a House and lot situate in Church Street in the City of Annapolis which said house is now occupied by a certain Thomas S McNeir as a tailors Shop and also all the furniture belonging to said Shop and also all and (Singular) |
