204 thirty seven and to secure the payment of the said sum of three hundred and fifty five dollars with interest to the said William Goodman Junior and to indemnify save harmless and reimburse the said William Brewer Senr George McNeir & William McNeir their heirs executors and administrators for and on account of their having become bound as aforesaid or for any monies that they may hereafter be compelled to advance for and on account of him the said Richard R Goodwin the said Richard R Goodwin is willing to execute these presents No this Indenture witnesseth that the said Richard R Goodwin for and in consideration of the premises and of the Sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said parties of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said William Goodwin Junior William Brewer Sen.r George McNeir and William McNeir their executors administrators and assigns all his household and kitchen furniture Leather ready boots and shoes and other Stock in trade and implements of trade now in the possession of the said Richard R Goodwin at his store and dwelling on Church Street in City of Annapolis To have and To hold all and singular the said household and kitchen furniture Leather ready boots and shoes and other stock in trade and implements of trade herein before bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be unto the said William Goodman Junior William Brewer Senr George McNeir and William McNeir their Executors administrators and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said William Goodman Junior William Brewer Senr George McNeir and William McNeir their executors administrators and assigns forever Provided always and these presents are upon this Condition that if the said Richard R Goodwin his executors and administrators shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said William Goodman J.r his Executors administrators or assigns the said sum of three hundred and fifty five dollars with legal interest for the same and in all respects save harmless indemnify and reimburse the said William Brewer Sen.r George McNeir & William McNeir their heirs executors and administrators for and on account of their having become bound as aforesaid or for any monies that they may hereafter be compelled to advance for and on account of him the said Richard R Goodwin then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing herein contained shall cease determine and be utterly void to all intents and purposes anything herein contained to the contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding In Witness whereof the said Richard R Goodwin hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first herein before written Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence of Wm Glover Rich.d R Goodwin (seal) |
