6¾      Recorded the 17th day of January 1839


State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  Know all men by these presents
that William Drury of Henry of the County and state aforesaid for and in Consideration
of the sum of one hundred & Twenty dollars and Fifty Cents Current Money to me in
hand paid by William H Wood & C.o of the County of Friendship of the same at and
before sealing and delivery hereof the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have
granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
unto the said W.m H Wood his Executors administrators and assigns all his Crop
of Tobacco now made not yet packed supposed to be from Seven to Eight thousand
Weight of Crop and Second  To have and to hold the Same described property
above bargained and sold to the said William H Wood his Executors
administrators and assigns for ever to his and their only proper use and
benefit and I the said William Drury of H for myself my Executors and
administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents
to the said William H Wood his Executors administrators and assigns the said
described property against me my Executors and administrators and against al
and every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part
thereof  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
my seal the 10th day of January 1839

                      At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

State of Maryland Anna Arundel County to wit  On this 10th day of January
1839 Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for the state and
County aforesaid appeared William Drury of Henry and acknowledged the foregoing
Instrument of writing to be his act and deed and the property therein named
to be the right and Estate of the within named Wm H Wood according to the
true intent and meaning of the same thereof and the act of assembly in such
Case made and provided            Taken and acknowledged before

Know all Men by these presents that I Richard P Snowden of Anne Arundel
County for and in Consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to me in hand
paid by David M Perine of the City of Baltimore have bargained and sold unto the
