and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned

5      Recorded the 15th day of September 1841


          Whereas by Indenture of mortgage bearing date on or about the Twenty seventh
day of march last past made between Evan T Ellicott Andrew Ellicott and Elias Ellicott
all of the City and County of Baltimore in the State of maryland of the one part and June
Jackson and Eliza Bond both of the same place of the other part and recorded among
the Land records of Prince Georges County and of Anne Arundel County in said state the
Lands and premises in that Indenture of mortgage described or mentioned together
with the stock chattels effects and moveable property therein enumerated as then being
upon the Lands thereby Conveyed Situated in Anne Arundel County whereon or on
some part whereof The Patuxent Furnace is erected were conveyed and assigned to
the said Jane Jackson and Eliza Bond their heirs and assigns forever to secure
to the said Jane her executors administrators or assigns the sum of Nineteen thousand
eight hundred and thirty six dollars and sixty three cents and to the said
Eliza her executors administrators or assigns the sum of three thousand dollars
in manner and at the periods therein expressed with interest thereon as therein
mentioned as by reference to that Indenture of mortgage will fully and at large appear
And whereas by additions made to or by the use and consumption of part of said stock
chattels effects and moveable property a change to some extent has been produced
therein and for the purpose of going to said Mortgagees their representatives and
assigns a ren upon all said stock chattels effects and moveable property as it may
now be found for the payment of this instrument is executed  Now this Deed witnesseth
that in Consideration of the above recited premises and of the sum of five dollars to
the said Evan T Ellicott Andrew Ellicott and Elias Ellicott paid by the said Jane
Jackson and Eliza Bond at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Evan T Ellicott Andrew Ellicott and Elias Ellicott
hand bargained sold and delivered assigned transferred and made over and by
these presents do bargain sell and deliver assign transfer and make over unto the
above named Jane Jackson and Eliza bond their executors administrators and
assigns all and singular the following described or mentioned stock chattels
effects and moveable property now being upon the aforesaid Lands situated in
Anne Arundel County whereon or upon some part whereof The Patuxent Furnace
is erected that is to say Four thousand cords of wood one hundred and twenty
five tons of Hay one full set of Farming utensils fifteen head of cattle six mule Teams
six extra mules six wagons and Gears five Carts and Harness One Lot of Hogs
