138 thirty in number thirty thousand bushels of charcoal four setts of Farnace tools two setts of Blacksmith tools with Bellows and Anvils one patent seale and weights three thousand pounds of Bar Iron five Log Chains two tons of Scrap Iron two hundred barrels of Corn Stock of Goods in the store valued at three thousand dollars two rail road cars one hundred and fifty tons of Pig Iron fifty tons refined Iron and four hundred tons iron ore To have and To hold the same and the proceeds and avails of all said stock chattels effects and moveable property and likewise the chattels effects and property in which said proceeds or avails or any part thereof may be invested and so on from time to time as often as a Sale or change of the Stock Chattels or moveable property aforesaid may be Made or shall take place unto the above named Jane Jackson and Eliza Bond their Executors administrators and assigns forever Provided always however that these presents shall become void and of no effect upon payment of the respective Sums of Money aforesaid and interest according to the tenor of the Indenture of mortgage above referred to But if default shall be made in such payment then the property hereby assigned shall be sold and the proceeds appropriated and applied in the same manner as is provided for in and by that Indenture of mortgage in reference to the property thereby conveyed and assigned In Testimony whereof the said Evan T Ellicott Andrew Ellicott and Elias Ellicott have hereunto subscribed their names and affixed their seals this fifth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty one Signed Sealed and delivered Evan T Ellicott (seal) in presence of Andrew Ellicott (seal) T Hanson Belt Elias Ellicott (seal) At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit State of Maryland City of Baltimore Sct Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this fifth day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty one before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of maryland in and for the City of Baltimore aforesaid personally appeared Evan T Ellicott Andrew Ellicott and Elias Ellicott known to me as three of the parties tot he foregoing deed or Instrument of writing and severally acknowledged the said deed or Instrument of writing to be their respective and deed In Witness whereof I hereto subscribe my name on the day and year aforesaid T Hanson Belt State of Maryland Baltimore County Sct I hereby Certify that Thomas Hanson Belt Gentleman before whom the aforegoing acknowledgments were made and who hath thereto Signed his name was at the time of so doing a Justice of the peace of the state aforesaid (in) |
