forks one chest; one wash stand two wash tubs
two Barrels one mattock, two hoes, one tea kettle
half a dozen tumblers, two venetian window
blinds, two paper window curtains, one lamp
two tin pans, two tin pails, two tin coffee pots
two flat irons, two pitchers and one frying
pan now in the possession of the said solomon
Boston.  To Have and To Hold the same
unto the said Rufus Barnes his executors administrators
and assigns forever.  Provided however
always nevertheless and these presents
are upon the express condition that if at any
time within fourteen calendar Months from
the date hereof the said solomon Boston shall
pay or cause to be paid unto the said Rufus
Barnes his executors administrators or assigns
the said sum of thirty five dollars with all interest
accruing thereon which shall be then due
then and in such case this instrument of writing
to be null and void otherwise to remain in
full and legal force and virtue and the said
solomon Boston hath on the day of the date
of these presents delivered unto the said Rufus
Barnes one half dozen spoons and placed
them in his possession.  In testimony whereof
the said solomon Boston hath hereto set his
hand and affixed his seal this third day of april
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five                                          his
signed sealed and delivered     Solomon x Boston  (seal)

                                        Howard county sct:
On the third day of April Eighteen hundred and
fifty five before the subscri   a justice of the
said county personal  appears solomon Boston
and doth acknowledge the above instrument of
writing to be his act and deed and at the same
day comes the said Rufus Barnes and doth
make oath that the consideration mentioned
in the said Bill of sale and bona
fide as therein set forth.   Acknowledged
and sworn before me on the day and year
above written.         Ignatius Waters J. Peace
